MY STORY
I'm in the business of investments that involve trust and relationships. Whether we work together on your daily hairstyle and makeup or for your wedding, its important to me that my clients know who I am and feel at ease with me. Here's a bit of my story to break the ice.
I love being able to have moments in time which allow me to connect with my clients. My goal is to make each client feel truly comfortable, knowing we are on the same page with what we will be achieving. I love to inspire and guide my clients, be it their new hair style, or their ceremony with authenticity and empathy, aiming to make each person feel comfortable and understood.
Nothing makes me happier walking away feeling happy and uplifted with the service I have offered, knowing we made a true and genuine connection. With 28 years of experience in seeing so many clients, brides, grooms and their loved ones I feel I can be placed in any room, be able to read the room and act accordingly and yes I love a good laugh, dance session and a cry as I wear my heart on my sleeve and what you see is what you get. Open, no judgment held and honest.
FAMILY, FRIENDSHIPS and COMMUNITY hold a special place in my heart.
When I’m not behind the chair or on location for weddings you will often find me volunteering at the local legion, my children’s forest play class and anything their hockey teams need (which I must say seems to take more time then one would think and I love every minute of it) or any other cause my family and I believe in and can stand behind. Balancing my professional life with my family and commitments outside of work reflects a holistic approach to living true to my core values.
I love to travel, near and far - and if there is water,
I will have a fishing rod in my hand!
And on the flip side of that, I am the biggest homebody. I love the quiet moments home has to offer, be it a sunny day paddling on the bow river, to skiing in the mountains nothing rings truer in my heart then coming home to snuggle on the couch, a book in hand and watching the snow falling down outside with my family around.
And then there is always a child yelling “mum?” evidence of the simple pleasures in life. I don’t have this pristine idea of the perfect life, it can often be messy and things done on the spare of the moment but at the day I reflect back to see if it was filled with purpose and fulfillment, sometimes it is and other times its not and that's ok as I wouldn’t have it any other way.
